Katie Mitchell, APRN
Katie Mitchell, APRN, joined the practice in 2007.
Mrs. Mitchell is a native of Southern Indiana and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University in 2001. She worked as an Oncology/Hematology RN at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis for four years prior to returning to academia to obtain her Masters degree in Oncology Nursing. She completed her coursework at Duke University in 2006 and has now returned to the Louisville area. She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society and Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society. In addition to her role as a Nurse Practitioner at CBC, Mrs. Mitchell's other medical interests include HIV/AIDS in Africa and missions to this region of the world.
